Beta
Test M5wallet
The mobile applications are in active beta. Everything below is real, installable software — and it is pre-release, so treat it accordingly.
Before you start
- This is beta software. Expect defects, and expect that a build may need reinstalling.
- Do not move funds you cannot afford to lose. Test with small amounts first.
- Keep your vault backup and your Fast Vault password. Nobody at M5 can restore access if you lose both.
- No third-party security audit has been completed. Nothing here should be read as one.
Android — direct APK
Download the signed APK and install it directly. Android will ask you to permit installation from this source; that prompt is expected for any application not delivered by the Play Store.

- 02Tap Settings in that prompt, then enable installing from this source for your browser or file manager.
- 03Return to the file and tap Install.
- 04You can turn the permission back off afterwards — it is only needed for the install itself.

What to test, and how to report
The most useful reports are specific. Tell us the platform, the build version, what you expected and what happened instead.
Worth exercising
- Vault creation — both Fast Vault and Secure Vault, and the sign-in flow.
- Sending on several chain families, especially outside EVM.
- Cross-chain swaps, including the quote and status screens.
- Connecting to dApps through the browser and WalletConnect.
- Restoring a vault onto a second device.
Reporting a problem
- On iOS, send feedback from inside TestFlight — it attaches the build number and a screenshot.
- On Android and the extension, note the version shown in settings and what you did immediately before the problem.
- Never include your Fast Vault password, a vault backup, or any share material in a report. Nobody at M5 will ask for them.
